COREA DEL SUR

El ultimo equipo del especial de la copa del mundo es Corea del Sur, aunque técnicamente debería decir Republica de Corea, con este equipo se cierra el especial y buscare algo nuevo que preparar. // The last team of this world cup special is South Korea… but technically is Republic of Korea.

Aunque los tigres no son precisamente una potencia en el futbol, tenia ganas de hacer algo bueno con sus uniformes, ya que siempre me ha gustado el estilo que usan. // Altought the asian tigers are not the great and powerful team of the world so far I like they kits.

RUSIA

Es el turno de Rusia, penúltimo equipo del grupo y de la serie del mundial, otro de esos que siempre ilusionan y esta vez, pues nada, nada de nada. // It’s russian time, this is almoste the last team of this special, and another of those teams always we wait for and… well, at least this year they did nothing.

Algo que debo admitir es que Rusia es de esos equipos que tienen ese estilo que siempre gusta en sus uniformes, así que sinceramente estaba un poco emocionado por hacer estos 5. // Something I need to say is that Russia is one of those teams with a special style on the kits I really love, so I was a little bit excited to design this.

ARGELIA

El ultimo equipo africano es Argelia, que fue también el que mas lejos llego, llevando a Alemania a tiempos extra, aunque siendo sinceros, también es un país que puede llevar la dislexia a niveles de provocar dolores de cabeza, en especial al escribir en español e ingles >___< // The last african team is Algeria, they also were the african team with the best performance, at least the only one that reach an overtime game after group games… and also is the country that can get you mad if you suffer dyslexia and speak spanish and english.

Bueno, para ser sinceros, no sabia bien que hacer, no es precisamente la selección en la que piensas primero a la  hora de diseñar uniformes, pero igual espero hayan quedado bien. // Well, to be honest, I didn’t know what to design for this team, this is not exactly the fisrt team going to your mind when thinking on design, but hope you like the final design.

BELGICA

El primer equipo del grupo H es Bélgica, otro equipo de esos de los que se esperaba mucho, la diferencia es que ellos si cumplieron, al menos hasta que jugaron contra Argentina y desaparecieron. // The first team of group H is Belgium, another team that promises a lot, but well… they did it, at least until the game against Argetina.

Para los diablos rojos decidí hacer algo un poco mas limpio y elegante que lo hecho por Errea las ultimas veces. // For the red devils I wanted something clean and with a kind of elegance, far from the works made by Errea.

GHANA

El ultimo equipo del grupo es Ghana, selección africana que se quedo en la fase de grupos. // The last team of this group is Ghana, african team that only won 1 point.

Las estrellas negras siempre han tenido uniformes que me gustan mucho y dejan que uno pueda jugar con el diseño, así que creo que termine con diseños “diferentes” que espero les gusten. // The black stars always wear kits that I really like, and also allow  playing with the design, so I make some “different” designs for this team.

ESTADOS UNIDOS

Seguimos en el grupo G, esta vez con Estados Unidos, los americanos que dieron buena batalla, sorprendieron y al final en el mejor partido de su portero terminaron cayendo en tiempos extras. // We still on group G, now with de USA team, for americans, who fought and surprised a lot, but were defeated on they better game on overtime…

Los americanos tienen el problema de no contar con una identidad en sus uniformes tan arraigada como muchos otros equipos, ya que suelen cambiar de estilo de un año a otro, a veces de forma radical, así que espero que lo que hice les guste. // American team has a little big problem, the lack of visual identity on football, they changes their style year by year, sometimes drastically, so, I hope you liked what I did for them.

PORTUGAL

El segundo equipo del grupo G es Cristiano Ron… digo, Portugal, equipo que simplemente no dio lo que se esperaba de el. //  The second team from group G is Cristiano Ron… ammm.. I mean, Portugal, team that finally couldn’t do anything.

Para los lusos busque algo que se viera bien y listo, sinceramente no tenia muchas esperanzas en CR7+10. // For portuguese team I look for something that just looks good and that’s all, really really… I didn’t wait anytnihg from CR7+10.

ALEMANIA!!!

Hora del grupo G y del campeón del mundo!!! perdón por la tardanza pero habían algunas cosas que me atrasaron el post, pero por fin es turno de la National Mannschaft, mi favorito personal de toda la vida y nuevo Welkmeister. // Now is time for the group G and the new world champion!!!  sorry for that time without posting but there were some things to do, but, here’s the post for the National Mannschaft, my all time favorite and new Welkmeister.

Para los germanos trate de hacer algo ni muy clásico ni muy extravagante, algo que a mi me guste por el simple hecho de ser mi selección favorita y espero les guste a ustedes. // For german team I wanted something not too much simple but also not too much risky, I wanted something I would like for myself, and hope you too.

NIGERIA

El ultimo equipo del grupo, las poderosas águilas verdes, Camerún. // The last team from group F, the powerful green eagles, Cameroon.

Para los cameruneses trate de hacer algo mas del pasado, volviendo al clásico verde oscuro en lugar del de este año. // For cameroonian team I tried something mor from the past, using again the dark green instead the lighter from this year.

IRAN

Turno de Irán, realmente no es la gran selección, no es un invitado habitual del mundial, pero hizo un buen papel. // Time to Iran, really is not the big team, is not an usual guest on world cups, but they do it good.

Realmente no sabia que hacer con ellos, así que trate de hacer algo ni muy simple ni muy llamativo, creo que lo principal fue el cambio de rojo a verde en el uniforme de visita. // I really didn’t know what to do for Iran, so I decided to do something not so simple and not so striking, the main change was passing from red to green on away kit.

BOSNIA Y HERZEGOVINA

Ahora uno de los equipos que prometían mucho y al final nos hicieron recordar que es su primer mundial y no se les puede exigir nada, por mas nombres que puedan tener, Bosnia y Herzegovina. // Now one of those teams wich we wait a lot from… but we forget was its fisrt world cup, Bosnia Herzegovina

Este equipo fue un poco difícil para mi, no solo por ser una selección a la que realmente no volteo a ver nunca, sino el cambio de línea en sus uniformes que me daban diferentes ideas de lo que podía hacer, pero igual espero haberlo hecho bien. // This team was a little hard, just because is one of those teams I don’t look at,, but I wish I make a good job here.

ARGENTINA

Bueno, la copa se acabo ayer, termine hace dos días los diseños de todos los equipos que faltaban pero bueno… veía la final o escribía los post y ya saben quien iba a ganar en esa decisión. // Well… World cup ended yesterday, I finish all the designs saturday but… I needed to choice between post 12 teams or watch the final… you know which one must win.

Hoy le toca al subcampeón (si, ese del que nadie se acordara en dos semanas) Argentina, que dio un buen partido, fallo todo lo que tuvo para ganar y al final, la única falla defensiva les costo la copa (aunque Messi se llevo un trofeo… supongo que fue por venta de imagen, sino no entiendo) y para los argentinos, trate de ir un poco a lo básico en la local y arriesgar mas en las otras dos. // Today is time for the second place (yes, that team no one will remember in two weeks… sorry), Argetina, team that play really good, but fail everything in front and the only one fail on the defense… bye. I tried something simple for the home and risky for away and third kits.

HONDURAS

El ultimo equipo del grupo es Honduras… que bueno… llego al mundial sin repechajes ni nada y listo, fue todo lo que dio. // The last team of this group is Honduras, they… well… they reach world cup without playing against New Zealand (cof cof…) and that’s all they did.

Realmente no tenia demasiada inspiración para los catrachos, pero supongo que salió un buen resultado. Además use un escudo mas completo en lugar de la H que usaron en el torneo. // Really I was not exactly excited for doing Honduras kits, but I guess I did something good. And I decided to use a old crest instead the actual one that is only a big H.

FRANCIA

Siguiendo con el grupo E, le toca a Francia, otro que siempre parece estar destinado a triunfar y casi siempre se queda en la orilla, pero al mismo tiempo tiene en su historia a dos de los mas grandes del mundo, Platini y Zidane. // Continuing with group E, it’s France time, another team that every tournament looks like being destinated to win everything but almost everytime they fail, despite that France is home of two of the most important players of history, Platini and Zidane.

Con Italia dije que se caracterizaban por el estilo y elegancia, pero que decir de Francia, la capital mundial de la moda!!! Trate de hacer algo al nivel, así que busque mantener algo rememorando algo de mis favoritos personales galos, además de usar el escudo estilizado, en lugar del actual retro. // If I said Italy is known due to its style and elegance, what can I said of the fashion capital, France? I tried to make something at the level, so I based my designs on some of my personal french favorites and chance the crest to the stylish roster instead the retro one.

ECUADOR

El segundo equipo del grupo E es Ecuador, equipo que prácticamente radica en México, y ya que casi todos son poco menos que estrellas en este país, muchos creíamos que llegarían lejos, pero lamentablemente se quedaron en el camino. // The second team of group E is Ecuador, this team virtually live in Mexico, and due to here almost all the players are stars on the league we tought they could reach at least quarter finals, but pitifully they couldn’t

Supongo que lo mas complicado de Ecuador fue hacer algo que no se pudiese confundir con Colombia, por la combinación de colores de ambas selecciones. // I guess the hard part of Ecuador was make something different to Colombian kits, this because they use the same colorschemme on the home kit.

SUIZA

Ya estamos en la segunda mitad de los equipos del mundial!!! y la cabeza del grupo E es Suiza, uno de esos equipos que si bien no son poderosos y ganadores, si es uno difícil, que pelea mucho y que sin dudas no es sorpresa que haya orillado a Argentina al filo de los penales. // We’re on the second half of world cup teams!!!! and the first group E team is Switzerland, this is one of those teams that despite they’re not a winner or powerful team, they are a thought one, fight until the last second and was not a surprise they almost get penalty kicks against Argentina.

Los suizos tienen un estilo muy sencillo que siempre me gusto, así que trate de mantener eso en mis diseños. // Swiss has a simple style I always like, so I tried to keep it on my designs.

ITALIA

Decir que fue una de las decepciones del mundial podría por un lado ser cierto, pero por el otro, han caído muchos equipos grandes así como equipos poderosos se han visto mal, así que supongo que Italia no debería sentirse tan mal por su segundo mundial seguido quedándose en fase de grupos. // Saying they were one of the dissapointments of world cup would be right, but on the other hand, a lot of teams have go out, big teams, the favorites ones played not so good… so, for me, Italy have nothing to feel sooooo bad for being eliminated two world cups in a row, on group phase.

Si bien dije que Inglaterra era un equipo con estilo, Italia es un país lleno de estilo y elegancia, el futbol no podía escapar de esta tendencia así que espero haber logrado estampar algo de esto en mis diseños. // I just say England is a team with a lot of style, but Italy is THE COUNTRY WITH STYLE, and that elegance of is reflected on the national team too, so I hope can catch some of the style on my designs.

INGLATERRA

Hay equipos que a pesar de ser grandes, conocidos por su futbol de gran calidad y tener excelentes jugadores simplemente parecen estar destinados a caerse, y uno de ellos parece ser Inglaterra, que desde hace ya un tiempo no logra realmente nada importante a nivel internacional a pesar de tener grandes nombres en su selección y una de las 3 ligas mas importantes y poderosas del mundo. // There’re teams that despite being called “greats”, with amazin quality on players and football, just look like being destinated to fail, and one of them can be England that since some (a lot of…) years just can’t win something important, despite having one of the three more important leagues of the world, a national team full of great players and a lot of history.

Y a pesar de la falta de logros, Inglaterra sigue siendo Inglaterra y sigue siendo uno de los equipos con mas estilo en sus uniformes, así que trate de mantener esa línea de elegancia en mis diseños. // Despite the lack of success, England still being England and still being one of the more elegant teams, so I wanted to keep that looking on my designs.

COSTA RICA

Sin duda este mundial esta lleno de sorpresas increíbles y gratas, la mas grande tiene nombre, Costa Rica, y es que sin duda los ticos han mostrado gran corazón y suficiente futbol para dejar vencer a Uruguay e Italia y poner el ultimo clavo en el ataúd de Inglaterra. // Clearly this world cup is the one with the more surprises, amazing and greats surprises, of curse the biggest one is called Costa Rica, and its because they show a really big heart to play and defeat Uruguay and Italy.

Para los ticos, curiosamente preferí basarme un poco en el diseño de la selección femenil que en la varonil, y es que seamos sinceros, esta selección no es precisamente la mas agraciada en cuanto a uniformes, mientras que las mujeres mostraron una camiseta muy linda en el ultimo mundial. // For the “ticos”, its strange but I prefer to use as base the female Costa Rica team instead the male one, just because… well… to be honest, Costa Rica kits are not exactly the most beauty of the world.

URUGUAY

El primer equipo del grupo D es Uruguay, en definitiva uno de los grupos mas complicados con 3 campeones mundiales resulto ser uno de los que llevan mas sorpresas; empezando con una derrota, esta selección protagonizo la primera. // The first group D team is Uruguay, definitely this group is thought, with 3 world champions and a lot of surprise, the first one, uruguay beaten on its first game.

Para este equipo me costo un poco hacer algo, ya que suelen tener uniformes bastante sobrios y no sabia realmente que tanto podría variarlos. // For me was hard to design something due to the classical and clean designs Uruguay always have wear.
